Test your browser's MedCam capabilities

This local test checks web features, not medical diagnostic accuracy. The test runs on your device and sends no camera frames, browser fingerprint, or images to MedCam. A supported feature may still fail on a particular camera driver or operating system. For live camera testing, you must explicitly select Test camera now.

JavaScript is unavailable. This device can read the public guides, but the MedCam camera and local image processing tools require a modern browser with JavaScript.

The static guides remain available when advanced features are unsupported.

Optional real camera check on this device

Choose this only if you want to grant camera permission. A live stream is opened briefly, then stopped. The test records only whether the stream opened and whether it supplied a video frame. It does not save an image or share anything.

Share your test observations privately

These results are not automatically sent anywhere. Copy the summary manually if you want to report a compatibility problem. Do not attach patient images or patient identifiers.

What is not tested

This page cannot determine whether a photograph contains medically legible details, guarantee Android or iOS support, test WhatsApp delivery without user action, or certify every browser version. Opera Mini's data-compression mode cannot supply the live camera API; the public guides remain usable.
