MedCam is a capture and sharing prototype, not medical diagnostic software.

Photographs of X-ray, MRI, CT, mammography, ultrasound or ECG records can lose important details because of reflections, camera hardware, compression, angle, printing and exposure. A quality score indicates selected photographic heuristics only; it does not establish diagnostic adequacy, completeness or safety.

A phone photo is not the original DICOM study. The derived image may not faithfully represent every clinical pixel. Request original reports and imaging from your medical provider for diagnosis, treatment or emergencies. Do not delay necessary medical care because of this tool.

No image enhancement in this prototype invents missing anatomy, diagnoses conditions or claims to reconstruct absent clinical information. Independent medical-imaging and regulatory review would be necessary before claiming clinical suitability.
